Built in 1891 the Heritage Farmstead Museum transports visitors back in time to life on the Texas Blackland Prairie. Experience Farm life at the turn of the century by touring this beautiful 4 acre site with a fourteen room Victorian home, farm animals, flower gardens, a historic kitchen garden and twelve original outbuildings. Grounds open Tuesday through Sunday from 10am 4:30pm with one docent guided tour daily at 1:30pm. Self guided grounds tour is $2.00 per person. Guided tour is $5.00 for adults and $3.50 for children and senior citizens. Children four and under are admitted free.
