Merit Chinese School is a non-profit organization. The School teaches the Chinese dialect of Cantonese, found in the regions of Hong Kong and Guangzhou, China. The school enrollment is approximately 120 students, ages 4 to 17, from different parts of the metroplex including Dallas, Plano, Richardson, Allen, Coppell, Garland, Lewisville, Rockwall and Rowlett. Students come from different cultural background including Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam and Thailand.
